We are pleased to announce that The Daily Leaf has teamed up with Loud100 to bring more strain and dispensary reviews.  “ is committed to quality cannabis coverage in the PNW and beyond.”

The Confidential Cheese on Botanica’s shelves was an amazing find. Typically Cheese strains have a heavy funkiness that may border on stink. Not at all the case with this specimen. The purple accents give a hint at this flowers true grape forward aroma. Grape soda stacked on store brand grape popsicles with a bit of concord grape to round out the fruitiness. A slight wood heavy nuttiness strums a note that reminds us of a classic PB&J. Indica heavy relaxation with a fruit forward punch. Don’t miss out on this unique offering.

DSC_5959The Buddhas Hand we picked up from Bridge City Collective is a cross of Thai Lemon and Snow Lotus. Like the namesake fruit this strain has a light citrus aroma. Think less tangerine and more lemon sorbet. Finger stretched chunks of citrusy calyxes further fit the strain’s name. We loved this flower for its diamond like trichomes reflecting sunlight like an herbal prism.  Hints of lilac, buttery soft melon and freshly mowed grass rise from the freshly cracked buds and remind us of a hot summer day in the garden. This might just be our new midday summer refreshment.
