Last Thursday marked the second Fore Twenty Golf Tournament that saw over 200 CannaBiz Professionals square off to win the right to call their team this tournaments winners.  Last year MRX Labs took home the title, but this past tournament crowned Oregon’s Finest champions.

With over 55 companies in attendance, this B2B event is a great way for emerging companies in the cannabis industry to network with each other and leave with new-found friends.  It is a business tradition to fortify deals and build relationships on the golf course, and with the budding cannabis industry it is no different.

This sold out private golf event has become an interest from celebrity and sport figures as marijuana becomes less taboo around The US.  Athletes like Cliff Robinson are helping pave the way so cannabis can be an accepted alternative to addictive medications for athletes that are worn down during their careers.

“Cannabis helped me deal with the physical and mental stress of being a professional athletes for 18 years.  I’m so grateful that now in 2016 I’m able to put my beliefs to work, and help the sports industry understand how cannabis can be an alternative solution for athletes all over the world.  It will be great to get out on the green this month and speak with all of these great companies that are helping pave the way for a brighter future.” – Cliff Robinson
