BudTender Boot Camp Part II: Intro To Cannabis Compounds @ Jupiter Hotel

Interested in entering the cannabis industry but not sure where to start? Get ahead of the game with the Budtender Boot Camp Series. It’s everything you need to become eligible for an entry level position and more!

To celebrate the grand opening of Sativa Science Club we’ve decided to offer the people of Portland the same great employee training series that we provide our budtender teams! This is a one time only event and seats are filling up fast.

Join Sativa Science Club Founder Mary J Poppins and Portlands Budtender of the year Emma Chasen for a foundational study of cannabinoid compounds. Together we will explore:

*The Matrix of Cannabis
*Cannabinoid properties
*Decarboxylation
*Terpenes
*And Flavonoids

Intro To Cannabis Compounds is part two of the Summer Bud Tender Boot Camp series offered to the general public at the Jupiter Hotel.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

You must be 21+ with valid photo ID to attend this event.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The Jupiter Hotel is conveniently located off of East Burnside Street near a variety of public transportation options. While the Jupiter can not accommodate parking for this particular event, off street parking is provided free of charge in the surrounding area.

What can I bring into the event?

In an effort to comply with the Clean Air Act Intro To Cannabis Compounds is a NON-SMOKING EVENT but adults age 21+ are welcome to bring their own non-smokables (in accordance with Oregon State Law) and may partake of topicals, tincture, or edibles at their own discretion. We will be sharing a great deal of useful information so be sure to pack your laptop or a notebook and a pen as well.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You do not have to print off your ticket. In fact, we prefer that you save the paper. But you will be asked to provide your photo ID along with proof of ticket purchase upon entry.

The Cannabis Cloud stands for Craft, Comfort and Connectivity!

Also expect delectable food trucks, live artists (tattoo and mural), cool entertainment, intriguing speakers and a unique consumption experience powered by MJ Freeway.

The property is minutes away from many popular Portland neighborhoods and destinations like Kenton, Alberta, the Oregon Convention Center, and Mississippi Ave and just a half mile from I-5 highway.
